About the Event
Geoff is a freelance garden writer, writing for various national gardening magazines and websites. Previously he was Web Editor for the RHS, Gardening Editor of the Garden News magazine and Technical Editor of Garden Answers magazine. He has written eight books, with titles ranging from pruning to allotments and vegetable growing. Pests and diseases are probably responsible for putting more people off gardening than anything else. In this illuminating, interesting and amusing talk (at least that's what garden clubs tell him!) Geoff looks at the various ways of preventing pest and disease attacks in the first place and how to deal with them when they do occur. You may be surprised at exactly what you can do and cannot do.
